Hi Nannette! Yes, just make sure to cover them well and store in a freezer safe container.

I want to do some with chocolate filling. How would I do that?? Does it get baked in? Is it a frosting? Tips appreciated!

I made 400 of these cookies for my daughter’s sweet 16. Used raspberry, apricot, cherry, peach, and strawberry preserves. Everyone absolutely loved them!

These are the best cookies by far! Double the recipe the size I make only makes about a dozen. I use my homemade jams. Again the best!

Hi Dakota! You could certainly fill these with lemon curd. 🙂

I’m so sorry to hear this happened, Theresa! Did you weigh your flour? Did you make any other adjustments? Are you at a high altitude? A little too much flour can cause this issue. 🙁

Was wondering if homemade lemon curd could be used instead of jam?
Super excited to try these!

Hi I made this recipe and my cookies came out dry and cracked. I followed the recipe and baked them for 10 minutes. They taste good but I am very disappointed in how they look.

Hi Sam….. I made your version of these cookies for the first time using the brown sugar. I made this as one of the cookies for my granddaughter’s graduation. She absolutely loved them. I am going to make them again tonight for my uncle who is 101 years old and I am going to use the endof my spatula and make a “V” shape instead of a hole to make a heart shape in the thumbprint cookie. My grandkids and their friends love that shape and my uncle will too. Thank you for your new twist on a old recipe I have made for years.

These cookies are easy to make, taste great, and have a wonderful texture; kids can’t get enough of them!

My Mom made cookies like this when I was a kid and I was looking for a recipe. I remember her rolling the balls of dough in very finely chopped pecans instead of sugar.

Perfect shape and texture. I scaled the ingredients and froze the cookies overnight then added homemade jams and baked. All the cookies looked like they came straight from a bakery and tasted amazing.

I followed, weighed as she stated, and I could not believe how pretty they looked and they are one of my favorite cookies. My cookies looked like her finished cookies and this recipe is amazing. I enjoyed every bite of these cookies and was so proud to include them in my cookies I give to my neighbors.

Because I usually make smaller cookies because I try and include 8+ kinds, I would love to make these half the size but don’t want to adjust on my own . Love these
