I am about to try this recipe, but I’m confused. It calls for 6 TBSP of rum, but the recipe says to mixed 4 TBSP rum with the coffee and never talks about the other 2 TBSP. Is this a typo or did I miss something? Thanks!

In reply to Rena Berger. Hi Rena! I haven't tried making this in a springform pan so I'm not sure what the best way to do it would be. You could certainly put the lady fingers on the side as well as the bottom. It would make a different presentation, but might be really good. Let me know how it goes if you try it. :)

Can I make this in a springform pan instead ? would you put lady fingers around the circumference of the pan , standing up?

Once again, Sam knocks it out of the park. Beautiful recipe. Just as she said, it does taste better if you let it sit overnight. (We tasted it after about 7 hours and then again the next day and the taste was much more 'complete' the next day.) The only difference we made was we sprinkled it with high quality instant espresso powder instead of cocoa powder because we love a very strong coffee taste. That's simply a matter of personal preference and not recommended for everyone Sugar Spun Run is my go to for all my recipes. I used to search all over the internet. Now I just come here. Not only are all of Sam's recipes perfect, but the way she writes them out in such detail (including inserting the measurements into the instructions) is great for me. Thank you, Sam. You're a star

do you have any suggestions on how I could make mini personal sized tiramisu in these tall skinny shot glass like glasses that I see? I’ve had that before at a restaurant years ago and they would be perfect for self serve desserts at a baby shower. thank you!

I just got back from a trip to Italy, where we had the BEST tiramisu. I longed for more after we returned to the states, and of course immediately came to sugar spun run to see if you had a recipe. It. Is. DIVINE! JUST as good as it is in Italy. Amazing.

Hi Sam,
Made both your ladyfingers and tiramisu, and it was amazing.
Thank you for the clear instructions and simplicity. I made a non-alcoholic and a decaf cake since kids were going to eat it.
A huge hit, people were going for seconds and thirds!

I used amaretto and Kahlua instead of rum and Oreos instead of ladyfingers and it turned out absolutely divine!
