After it’s baked I’m not really sure how to add extra sweetness short of just sprinkling sugar on top of the cobbler. Your strawberries are going to provide a lot of the flavor here so you want to make sure they are really tasty before starting. I hope you still enjoy it! šŸ™‚

Everything looked the exact same as yours in the video up until I cut into it. Do you have any suggestions on how I could sweeten it a little more without it becoming runny? Thank you in advance.

Hi Lola! I’m sorry to hear this happened! Adding the extra sugar will cause a little extra liquid. There is going to be a bit of liquid when you are done but you should still have nice chunks of strawberries in there. How did yours compare to mine in the video? It will also thicken a little bit as it sits. šŸ™‚

I had the exact same issue as someone else as far as it being extremely runny. Other than the strawberries it was literally liquid. The topping was baked completely and I followed the instructions as written except for a couple more Tbsps of sugar because the strawberries I had were VERY sour. Please help

My husband got me up one Saturday morning with getting strawberries on his mind. He usually just eats them with store bought shortcakes and Cool Whip. Of course, I didn’t have either one! Thought I’d check out what recipes you have. (I’m a subscriber to everything you’re on lol). The strawberry cobbler caught my eye. Boy, did I pick the right one!! My family went crazy over it. We all just kept saying, “Sam did it again!” We love your recipes and you. Thanks for everything! XOXOXO

I’m so sorry to hear this, Diane! It should thicken as it cools. Was the topping cooked all the way through?

Hi ! I had a lot of strawberry juice in my cobbler immediately after it baked, so it was very runny. Once it was cut into, liquid filled the vacant spots of the pan. ( about an inch) It was still delicious, but I was wondering what I may have done wrong, as to why I had so much liquid ? Thank you for your help!

Hi Mariam! The cobbler will be prone to molding outside the fridge, so we don’t recommend it.

I made this for Mother’s Day. My mom and entire family really enjoyed it. We served it with vanilla ice cream. Thanks for the easy to follow instructions!

Hi Shiloh! It is important. You could potentially use milk, but you’d probably need slightly less.

I think I would thaw and drain them first so you don’t end up with too much moisture. šŸ™‚

Would I let them thaw first or do you think it would work fine as is?
