Can this dough be made a few days ahead and kept in the refrigerator? Then brought to room temperature and continue on at step 6?

Sam’s recipe saved the day! Turns out my mom was baking holiday cookies to deliver to the fam, and while she was excited to make Mexican wedding cookies, she realized that, after finding a handwritten recipe from a prior coworker back in the 1980-somethings, the recipe only included the ingredients…so into the trash it went…along with her anticipated cookie dreams. Needless to say, I remembered seeing these snowball cookies here on SSR, and they saved the day! They are easy, quick, and amazingly delicious. Splurge and get the European butter…it makes this great recipe even better. Yum!

Why use cornstarch never seen it in other snowball recipes
