In reply to Hannah. I'm so sorry to hear this happened, Hannah! When adding that second round of marshmallows the goal is for them to not completely melt. You want to have nice pockets of marshmallow goodness. :)

pretty d*** awesome recipe! prepared as written with +1more oz of marshmallow. I like that they are not too sweet. This batch is for a potluck, next batch will have a dunk in dark chocolate. Did not add the “sprinkles”.

This recipe was terrible to work with. The second batch of marshmallows don’t melt and I ended up throwing the whole batch away

This is a dangerous recipe. I’ve made this five times in a week. This is truly the best rice krispie treat I’ve ever made. When my husband first tried it, he said can you make it like this every time?

I found that this recipe has a decent amount less of Rice Krispies in it and my end result is quite soupy. I’m wondering if there is a trick to helping them set and firm up so that they are not so goopy?

In reply to Linette. I'm so sorry to hear this happened, Linette! Is it possible that you found a non-stick parchment paper? It's not very common, but it does exist and if you don't have non-stick parchment paper they could stick. :(

YUMMY!! i didn’t have any salted butter, but i just added 1/2 a tsp of salt to the saucepan while the butter was melting on low the whole time, and it turned out to be a major success!!

No joke gooey, but gooey in the best most delicious way!!! Made these with my five year old today (rainy day) and the process and finished product was everything perfect!!! And I couldn’t agree more with European butter. We use Kerrygold at home and it just gave that extra delicious flavor. Thank you so much for brightening up our rainy day.
