Hi April! The peaches don’t get tossed with the flour. The flour is for the topping. I hope you love it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I literally thought I was supposed to put 2 cups of flour in the dry ingredients, which I did, and thoroughly combined it….lol Idk what it’s gonna do but I continued with the rest of the recipe as is. I got it in the oven now… I’m praying it’s edible.

First time Iโ€™ve used my food processor for making dough, so easy and it was delicious. Loved the texture of the biscuits with the soft and sweet peaches, we ate it warm from the ovenโ€ฆso good!! You are my go to for all things baking, thank you!!

Hi Lola! There isn’t really a need to cook the peaches before baking. I would be worried that the peaches become too mushy if you cook them prior to baking.

Can you combine all of the peach filling ingredients on the stove (low/med heat) prior to baking in the oven? LOVE all of your recipes.

Hi Shannon! Personally I prefer it nice and warm. I would just keep the topping separate for the transfer and top the cobbler before baking. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Rose! This is a biscuit topping so yes it can be baked by itself. I have a great biscuit recipe if you’d like to try those. ๐Ÿ™‚

I made this last year for my in-laws and they loved it! I just canโ€™t remember if I should bake it first or bake it at their house? Any suggestions?

I have made this 4 or 5 times now and it is delicious! I have to use gluten free flour and have had terrible luck in the past with other recipes, but it does so good with this one. I do have an inquiry, would the topping be something I could just bake on it’s own? I ask because it’s my favorite topping I’ve ever done, and just wanted to ask.

In reply to Marie Cross.

What would be the amount of frozen peaches to make?

Hi Marie! Since I use a drier biscuit topping, it will hold up a little better than most, but the bottom layer is going to get a bit wetter. It’s just the nature of the biscuit sitting in the juice. ๐Ÿ™‚

My husband doesn’t like soggy dough. How does this dough hold up the day or two after baking? Thanks!

Hi Natalie! I would just let it cool and cover the dish. I typically just portion out what I am going to eat and microwave it. You could reheat the whole dish in the oven, but that will take a bit longer.

BUT I have leftovers and not sure of the best way to save and re-serve so the topping doesnโ€™t get ruined. Any recommendations?
