I tried this recipe today for the first time. I have to say that it was the most delicious cookie that I have ever eaten. The edges are crispy, the centers are moist and the flavor is outstanding. Try this recipe, it is so worth it!

Can I skip on molasses if I don’t have them easily available here and I’m trying a recipe with whatever I have in my kitchen at the moment. Or would it affect the consistency?

I just made this recipe and it was delicious! Perfectly chewy with the right amount of sweetness! I added some shredded unsweetened coconut to mine and it worked really well. Thank you for this beginner friendly and easy to understand and follow recipe! I can’t wait to try out more of your recipes!

In reply to rose333. They will spread less and the centers will be a little less done. You will want to bake them for a little less time. It's fine to do I just don't prefer it. :)

I notice that that some of your cookie recipes are baked at 375 degrees rather than 350. What would happen if I bake these cookies at 375 degrees?

Sam, your recipes are consistently delicious. This one is no exception. I followed the recipe exactly as written.
