Best King Cake recipe I have tried si far! Adding 1 teaspoon to the dough really brought it up a level.

Oh my goodness this is so delicious! Made recipe as written. Everyone loved it and went back for more. I have to say this was the easiest cake I’ve ever decorated too. So moreish! Will make this again for next week. Thank you.

This is a great recipe. I have made it twice and both times it came out perfect. I have had King before and thought they were dry but this recipe was far from it. I was always nervous to try a recipe like this but once again Sam made it so easy. Highly recommend making!

Wow! This was my first time making a king cake and I give it a 10/10! I’m a pretty good cook/baker but I was still nervous about how it would turn out. Exceeded my expectations!

My family loved this cake so much that I had to make another one immediately after they finished the first. I cut the yeast back to 2 tsp to slow down the prove since it rose too quickly in my kitchen the first time. I also tented with foil at the 30 minute mark and baked for another ten minutes based on the advice from another reviewer. I will be making this every year! Thank you for this wonderful recipe!
