In reply to Betty. Hi Betty! Blackberries, strawberries, and pineapple slices are great choices. For smaller fruits (like blueberries, grapes, and strawberries) it helps to spear them on a toothpick or skewer first to make dipping easier. Besides fruit, you can also serve with graham crackers or even crisp chocolate chip cookies.

Yummiest fruit dip, evah (

Served with tons of fruit, but I skewered 3 blueberries/cocktail pick to make it easier to dip. Disappeared, in no time!

Question: There was some dip left over, and I”m wondering if I can freeze it. Thanks!

I’m a sweet/tart kind gal, so when I make this or the cheesecake (only if I’m feeling like fruity cheesecake, mind you) I take one of those little cans of pre-peeled tangerines in a sugar-free syrup, and throw in at least a half. I whip in the first half with the sour cream step, then take the other half and slice half of them (1/4) into thirds and fold in with the whipped cream. The last 1/4 I keep for garnish when I serve it. Ok that was a lie, normally I just keep stuffing my face until I realize I ate them all. *f/palm* …again, *sigh…

hi Sam, I saw you a video that you make. it so good and it quick easy to make. I have never seen you make a fruit dip. But , I have a quick question. My mom said 1 cup of powdered sugar is way to sweet. Can I at the 100g powder sugar Instead?

I am puzzled that your measurements for powdered sugar (in grams) keeps changing. In some recipes you list 125 g. for 1 cup, in others you have it at 125 g. Why does it change? On my bags of powdered sugar, it actually states 30 g. per 1/4 c, which would make it 120 g. for 1 cup.

Hey Sam! I ALWAYS read the entire article & noticed a boo-boo.
In step 4 of the instructions above the actual recipe – where the whipped cream is added to the cream cheese – you write about not over-blending so as not to deflate the EGG WHITES.
Oops! Must have been a Monday morning lol
