I tried this for my son’s 15th birthday, which is tomorrow. I wish I could post a picture, it turned out so well and even the whipped frosting was amazing. I was incredibly anxious to do this recipe but you made it very relatable and easy. I didn’t use the chocolate(He doesn’t like chocolate) but I did add a last layer of frosting and put strawberries and blueberries on top with Powdered sugar. It turned out amazing and I can’t wait for him to see and try it tomorrow. Thank you!!

In reply to michele. Hi Michele! Honestly I think whipped cream is made the day you need it. The crepes could be made in advance, but you will want to put something between each crepe to keep them from sticking together. :)

I made this for National Bavarian Crepe Day and everyone loved it. I made the filling and crepes one evening, and assembled it the next day.

In reply to Natalie. Hi Natalie! The ganache will set up as it sits, but you could make the filling in advance. You could also make the crepe batter up to 24 hours in advance so all you have to do is cook the crepes and make the ganache. :)
