First time making these – and they turned out perfect!
Your video saved the day, as apparently my digital scale glitched when measuring the sweetened condensed milk and because I had seen how the mixture should look, I was able to figure it out and add the correct amount into it.
Yay for basic math skills!
Some I dipped in melted salted caramel baking chips and the rest in dark chocolate.
They are so delicious!
These will be made again in the very near future

These are absolutely delicious. I toasted the coconut before and then took a spoon and mashed it to make smaller pieces and ohhhh so delicious.

A big component is ensuring the egg whites are correct but otherwise super easy.

Highly recommend so yummy!!

Just made these and they are delicious! I will say that mine stuck to the parchment paper, which I found really strange! I had to use a knife to scrape them off gently. Might be a good idea to spray the parchment paper!

While these are sweet coconut cookies, they are not the moist, almost chewy, traditional coconut macaroons. These taste good though a little too sweet for us, and much drier.

These macaroons turned out great!!!! I realized toward the end of making them that the recipe called for no sugar unlike other recipes…They taste awesome…
My husband loved them.

In reply to Colleen M.. Hi Colleen! We are so sorry your macaroons didn't turn out right. Only sweetened coconut should be used in this recipe, as mentioned in the post. Sweetened coconut is more moist and sticks together better. There are a few other reasons for flat, messy macaroons, and we outline those in the FAQ section of the post. Hope this is helpful and you give the recipe another shot

Hi Sam,

I’ve made these Macaroons for my Sister and she loved them. They are her favourite.
Now she is asking me to make Chocolate Macaroons. (Arrrggg, lol)
So, do I do them the same way and just dip the entire Macaroon in the Chocolate rather than just the bottoms.
Thank you for all you do. I LOVE your recipes and know I can rely on them to be perfect.

Just finished making these little beauties for my work cookie exchange tomorrow, they turned out fabulous! Used this recipe last year too, everyone loves them! I didn’t process the coconut and I really like the look of the browned bits here and there 🥰
