I’m in love with this cake! It was so delicious! I love anything that tastes like cinnamon rolls and this was perfect. It was like cinnamon rolls without all the work. 100/10 stars!

Cinnamon roll without the fuss! what a wonderfully delicious and moist cake. the recipe doubled beautifully, baking it in a 1/2 sheet pan for a women’s breakffast. I added softened cream cheese to the glaze (not that the glaze wasn’t already perfect) and it was gobbled up with much ooooh’s and aaaah’s. Another perfect recipe, Sam. Many thanks!

In reply to Eduarda. Hi Eduarda! My only concern with turning it out onto a board would be that you want that cinnamon top to be showing. The under side doesn't look nearly as impressive.

Absolutely delicious! I made this today for my birthday cake. I’m not a cake fan period but have a weakness for cinnamon rolls! This does not disappoint. I didn’t do glaze but instead a cream cheese buttercream. The cream cheese in the batter makes this cake. The best mouth feel. My stepsons have requested the recipe.

What a wonderful coffeecake! The cream cheese in the batter makes all the difference. It produces a somewhat spongy (in a good way) texture, that reminds you of the yeast dough of a cinnamon roll. It is definitely best served slightly warm, but it’s great at room temperature, too. The best thing is how easy it is to make. I lined the pan with parchment paper (the pre-cut kind from King Arthur Flour), for easy clean-up, and easy cutting and serving. I have made cinnamon roll cake before, but it has been a long time, so I don’t remember where I got the recipe, or how it differs from this one, but I can easily abandon that one, because it can’t be any better than this.
