My five-year-old asked if we could make a dessert pizza and I’m so happy this recipe popped up in my internet search! Delicious. We made everything as directed, but also added white chocolate chips we had in the drawer. It took roughly 18 minutes for our pizza to cook through (our oven is not very efficient so this was not a surprise). We also added a caramel drizzle to the top. Thank you!

Hi Stephanie! I have not personally tried it so I can’t say for sure, but I would think a 1:1 gluten free flour could work here. Let me know how it goes if you do try it. πŸ™‚

Hi Cassie! I haven’t tried it, but I think if I didn’t have a choice I would try it. It could potentially work.

Hi Olivia! You shouldn’t have any issues doubling this. You would want to just double all of the ingredients. It shouldn’t take much longer to rise.

Could I double this recipe to make a larger pizza for an event? If so, what would change? Rise time? I’ve made this recipe 1/2 dozen times and LOVE IT.

In reply to Sam.

I only had butterscotch chips on hand. Added some oaks to the crumble to make it like an Oatmeal Scotchie. Turned out awesome!

How would the instructions change using active dry yeast? Wait a bit after mixing w warm water and then waiting a but more after mixing the dough? still a beginner and all I can get my hands on right now is active dry. thanks in advance!

This looks identical and I cannot wait to try it!! Thank you a thousand times!

Hi Hannah! The active dry yeast probably caused some issues with the crust. The yeast wont have time to activate and could end up making the crust taste like flour. πŸ™ I hope it goes better next time. πŸ™‚

The cheese started with an N. Mine came out so floury tasting, but the top was delicious. I really want to try to make this again the right way.

I could not make this pizza crust work at all. No matter how hard I tried it was so sticky. I kept adding flour and then I threw it out because I knew it wouldn’t bake up right. I used the rest of the recipe with a different crust. It turned out delicious. Also, I weigh my ingredients so I know I had the proper amount

Hi Lisa! I’m so glad the recipe has been such a hit! Either would work, if you want to reheat I would agree, just a lower temperature (350F would work well) for a few minutes to warm it, I might recommend wrapping in foil first to help keep it from drying out. I hope that helps!
