Today's recipe is inspired by my kids' favorite summertime beverage! Pink lemonade is a staple in our household during the summer months, but not the powdered kind full of artificial colors and sweeteners. We prefer to make our own from scratch--it's easy to do and incredibly tasty too!

My introduction to the peach bellini came by way of a bellini bar on the beach of Punta Cana during my honeymoon. I'd never even heard of such a drink before (my local bar's most exotic drink is probably their spiked iced tea), and was a faithful bay breeze sipper until Zach and I found this tiny, mostly empty bellini oasis (one of the benefits of visiting Punta Cana during hurricane season was that there were no crowds anywhere!).

While I already have a rich, decadent hot chocolate recipe on the blog, it's not necessarily a quick treat. It’s the ultimate hot chocolate if you ask me, but it's also slightly fussier than ripping open a packet and pouring it in some hot water.
