These were really good and a big hurt at church dinner. Instead of the additional chocolate chips on top, I used Reeses peanut butter chips. Thank you for sharing.

Found a glass pan with the right dimensions, so I used that. The brookies turned out pretty good, I may have been a bit too enthusiastic with the swirling which made the two batters a little bit too blended, but it still tasted great!

In reply to Madeleine T.. Hi Madeleine! I'm so glad you've been enjoyed the cookies and brownies! You can bake it in a 10 x 10, but it may not hold quite all of the batter. Make sure to not overfill your pan. I'm not sure on a bake time so you'll want to keep an eye on it as it bakes. Let me know how you like these! :)

I’ve baked both your best chocolate chip cookies and brownies multiple times, so this recipe looks amazing! However, I do wonder if it is possible to use a 10×10 inch pan instead of a 9×13 inch pan for this recipe?

Have a question.
I want to make these brookies, but switch out this brownie recipe for the Nutella brownie recipe instead. Is that possible? If so do I need to make any major changes? The recipes look very similar ingredient and bake time/temp wise. So I don’t think there should be a problem. Please let me know what you think

Pretty easy and a perfect cookie and brownie combo! I used a parchment paper sling instead of greasing and it worked really well.

Thanks to the SSR team, life has balance once again. This recipe is the perfect blend of the best of both worlds with a texture to match. In a lesser recipe, people would be angling for the slice that has more brownie, or more cookie. Not here! You win no matter which slice you get. This is one where I just watch picky kids take a bite, stop in their tracks, and then come back for more and more. Next time the swim team asks you for a bake sale, take this one out.

Outstanding brookie recipe! The only addition I made was replacing some of the chocolate chips with mini m&ms (kids’ party). They take time to make but I had everything measured out while the melted butter was cooling and it went fast. I did have to seal them up so they would safely make it through the night! 😉
